I not only work with couples. A large part of my work is with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety and other issues. I find that as we move deeper into those hurts we are able to find ways to not only heal and resolve those individual issues but we are also able to help build and strengthen connection with others. Often I work with people who are feeling sad and depressed and in the process end up feeling isolated and deeply lonely. I want to help heal that sadness as well as help you reconnect and find love and joy in your life as well.

The research points toward therapy having a significant positive effect on creating lasting change in your life, and I help my clients make those changes every day. Through collaboration, my goal in therapy is to create positive growth by helping heal those patterns that continue to cause conflict and hurt while pursuing satisfying and fulfilling personal values. This process often involves exploring patterns that continue to show up in your life and cause pain, which is why I deeply respect and honor my clients for allowing me into that painful space. Therapy must be practiced in an environment of safety and support in order to approach those hurt places. I work hard to create that safety because it is key to creating the space to begin healing relationships, anxiety, depression, trauma and many other painful experiences.

I provide exceptional individual therapy and couples therapy in my practice. I am here to help you through the process of understanding and healing the problems with guidance, compassion, acceptance, support, expertise, empathy and respect. The basis of each treatment I do has roots in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Interpersonal Process Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also facilitate an interpersonal process group which meets weekly and is a wonderful way for members to work on issues related to relationships or social interaction.
